According to the NFPA 70B section 188.8.131.52, infrared surveys should be performed during periods of maximum possible loading but not less than 40 percent of rated load of the electrical equipment being inspected.
Thermal imaging is carried out to detect electrical faults that cause warming. If failures and hot spots are detected, they can be treated before a fire occurs.
Some of the components that make up the commercial electricity panel and the household electricity panel are similar. In both the commercial electricity panel and the home electricity panel, all the electricity conductors connect the consumers.
